CALMER BEHAVIOUR ALLOWS FOR EASIER LEARNING
The
need for calmer behaviour is often not an issue for parents until
their child starts to become more active as an infant or starts to go
to kindy as a preschooler. It is at this time that as a parent, the
real issues of compliance and discipline become a problem. Often this
hyperactivity and attention seeking behaviour has been carried on
from a baby learning too many things without enough rest.
The parent has had difficulty
maintaining the daily rest or afternoon nap and the challenge becomes
one of how do we entertain them? This tiredness results in their
child demanding of their attention. This demand for attention is
presented in many ways; being naughty, loud, hyperactive or
displaying symptoms of concern. All of these symptoms become a real
worry for the parent.
The
KIDSCODEŽ process is an active way of showing parents how to turn
this situation aroundand give them the skill to understand how to
continually help both their child and themselves.
A
child’s mind has no chance to stop and recover from the busy
stimulating environment that they are living in, without the parent’s
insight about the importance of calmness and stillness.
We
all need R & R; parents can relate to their own desperate need
when on the job of parenting – children/babies also need R & R.
The process shows parents HOW to create that space and downtime for
everyone.
The KIDSCODEŽ process
shows you how to provide the space for your child to develop the
listening skills required for learning and self discipline.
It
is a very simple process in its application; all it requires is a
need from a parent to want what is best for their child and to learn
how to create the space to allow this to develop. Read
a mother’s story of how the process helped her family – Life was
chaotic for my husband and I with two demanding children aged 5 &
6 – I am sure no different to any other family.
I was stressed,
which made my children even more stressed which filtered into my life
via family and friends. It became a very confused household and life
with kids really was not much fun. It was an ongoing battle to regain
or keep “control” of everything – Wow, how my life has changed
for the better now. Not only do I know what my children want – they
get to hear (and listen) to what I want… Everyone is happy and
clear about who wants what. Whatever the age, the principle of
hearing what each other wants are, is always the same. Jenny taught
me her process of letting go; I was so relieved – peace at last.
Her process enabled me to let go of all preconceived ideas and
beliefs and to go back to the basics in order to create a calmer,
happier environment for everyone.
