I've had this need to write a
testimonial for Jenny Roberts for a long time now. I'll try to keep
it as short as possible for I could fill pages on Jenny’s stuff and how it has
affected our lives, mine and my precious children.
I am a 46y/o solo ‘twice over’ Mum
with a 10y/o son and a 25y/o daughter. In 2002 I met Jenny and did
her program, quite by chance, unlike most who have asked for her help. I was
doing Discreet Trial Training sessions with two Autistic boys, at the time and
both their parents had done the Kids Code program so I felt it would be
beneficial.
I DID NOT NEED HELP!
Well…that’s what I thought. After
hearing only some of what she was conveying I asked Jenny how to help the
ones that have already grown up and left home. Well...there was no
direct answer for that but I most certainly did have the insight on
that one during the whole process. Following the KIDSCODEŽ program,
Jenny ran a Play Group at her farm and I would attend these along with the
parents and the boys I worked with. During this period I learned invaluable
things that changed my whole belief system, right down to my
spirituality. Now I know I have true faith in the Universe and how
it works. That is what it felt like, an ENLIGHTENMENT of sorts. I
wanted the whole world to get it and do the Kids Code process. I was
enlightened as to how calm life can be and learned how to truly relate for the
first time too. As for my own children, I learned what a true sense of pride
is. I saw who they really were for the first time ever, not who I wanted them
to be or what I tried to create for them. Most importantly, I also realized… I DID WANT HELP!
Today 5 years later, I still live
by KIDSCODEŽ and baby-sit for parents that are going through the process. The
relationship I now have with my children is better than I'd ever
wished for. I have also fostered a 3y/o girl for 8 months and did amazing
things with the behavioural problems she had. All her attachments including
bottles, dummies and blankets were gone within 2 weeks, sleeping all night
within 6 weeks and then toilet trained as well. It is a very rewarding thing to
see and more importantly, 'feel' when a child switches on. For me it creates an
energy that makes me glow with pride. Knowing where ‘you're at’ and having the
knowledge of how to ground and centre in order to get to where you need to be
is indeed very empowering. If we get it and we use it, the natural progression
is that our children get it too. WE ALL DESERVE THAT!
If anyone is lucky enough to find
Jenny…they can find freedom from the ‘norm’ and liberation as a parent. Maybe
they'll even find their own true self… just like I did.
